ManuLoc® long
Stabilizing wrist orthosis with longer lever
Whether carpal tunnel syndrome, acute injuries, post-operative irritation or chronic osteoarthritis: the extra-long ManuLoc long by Bauerfeind immobilizes the wrist but not the fingers and thumb. This alleviates pain without hindering everyday activities. Easy to put on and take off at any time, the orthosis allows you to start fitness training again early so the wrist can quickly regain mobility.
- Splints the wrist and forearm following injuries, surgery and in case of excessive strain
- The thumb and fingers can be moved freely
- Possible alternative to plaster casts for added convenience during everyday routines
Particular stability thanks to long shape
For some problems and conditions, the wrist has to entirely avoid movement to alleviate pain and accelerate recovery. After treatment with plaster casts, for example, increased stabilization with an orthosis is the method of choice. With ManuLoc long, you can still move your fingers and grip in your everyday routine.
Get back to training as early as possible!
The ManuLoc long with its three anatomically shaped, extra-long aluminum stays makes it practically impossible to move the carpal joint. The fingers and thumb can still be moved freely, so gripping movements of the hand are largely unaffected.
Open interstices and air pores allow air to reach the skin and wounds, which accelerates recovery. Thanks to large micro Velcro fasteners, ManuLoc long is easy to put on and take off with one hand. Convenient stoppers prevent the straps from sliding out of their rings.
