Helpful for skier’s thumb
Winter athletes know the feeling: all it takes is a minor struggle with your ski pole strap and you can be stuck with an unpleasant souvenir of the mountains for a long time. For the overstretched capsular ligament complex to recover quickly, the joint requires stability. This is because we put more strain on our thumbs than we realize.
Fit again fast
RhizoLoc splints the thumb at the carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joints with an individually adaptable aluminum frame. This allows for optimal regeneration of the affected collateral ligaments. Using a special Velcro tab, the restriction of movement can be adjusted to firm or loose as required by treatment.
The breathable material with incorporated pores allows your skin to get air to keep your wrist and thumb from sweating or itching. Thanks to convenient Velcro fastening, the orthosis is easy to put on and take off using the other hand.
