SofTec® Dorso

Straightening back orthosis for increased stabilization of the spine

SofTec Dorso stabilizes the pelvis and torso with an inelastic knit fabric. A long aluminum splint with optional stabilizing cross fits snugly against the back and helps to straighten its posture. Shoulder straps with a tensioning strap system relieve and straighten the upper body. This allows you to breathe comfortably and move easily about your daily life.

    • Provides reliable stabilization for vertebral fractures and severe vertebral displacement
    • Powerfully straightens the lumbar and thoracic spine
    • Restricts damaging rotational movements in the upper body

Helpful support for straight back

Sometimes it’s just not the stress of everyday routines that bend our backs. Upright posture can need support from the outside after simple and stable vertebral fractures or surgery as well. The same is true for chronic disorders such as osteoporosis, tumors or inflammatory processes.

SofTec Dorso stabilizes your lumbar and thoracic spine and powerfully straightens the torso from the hips to the shoulders. At the same time, it protects against painful turns, above all in the lower spinal region.

Better quality of life in everyday routines

SofTec Dorso encompasses and protects the pelvis and torso like a corset with a firm, inelastic knit fabric. A long aluminum splint fits snugly along the back and helps to straighten its posture. For additional stabilization, an optional stabilizing cross can be fitted on the splint in the lumbar region.

The shoulder strap relieves and straightens the upper body like a backpack. A patented tensioning strap system allows you to determine the level of tension yourself. SofTec Dorso features flexible Velcro fastenings with finger pockets, so it is easy to put on and fits perfectly. The chest area remains free. This allows you to breathe easily and move about your daily life with excellent protection. After all, in any life situation, being active is key to good health!
